Good mates doesn't exclude you from being punched, Pads. But it's good to know he packs a punch at all. And it's especially good to know he'll keep you in line since you're so close. But-

[ . . . oh my god sirius no. James just pauses, then just ends up chuckling a bit because it was really quite bad but it's also Sirius and yeah okay, James is a sucker for bad jokes. If only for how ridiculous the person is who tells them. He looks back at Edgeworth though, when he starts talking again. ]

Ohh, well that's a relief. [ Great and all. He loves a good moral-driven security team, being such a Gryffindor at heart. Not that he'd say it out front, he does have a reputation to uphold as a Marauder and all. But then Edgeworth seems to just kind of relax a little and James does too - not that he'd been visibly tense, but the whole interaction still felt a little forced. Introductions usually did.

He wants to comment on the apparent tendency Sirius has towards punching, but he decides to just watch, jumping in when they seem to be done.]

So Edgeworth, now that we've made acquaintances and all that, I do hope you know I expect all the dirt on our mutual friend here. What he's done, any kind of shenanigan he could have possibly gotten caught in, embarrassing stories, etc etc. I feel so very out of the loop.
